Established in 2010, Flat12 Bierwerks is a production craft brewery located in the fast-growing Holy Cross neighborhood— just east of downtown Indianapolis.
When developing Flat12’s new brand I started with their name and location. The new logos summon the iconic spirit of the Flat 12 engine and its racing history in Indianapolis. The packaging creates a unified family that stands out on the shelf and emphasizes the brewery first and beer style second. We used color and custom illustrations to distinguish each variety to tell a unique brand story, capturing the passion and craftsmanship that goes into each and every brew.
